I know that I have covered this topic before but I feel that it needs to be brought up again. When I am out and about or if I am watching TV at home I hear how bad the housing market is, the sky is falling. And I agree, if you live in California, Arizona, Nevada and Florida but not hear in Amarillo and Canyon. Anytime property values are doubling in a year you are going to eventually have a drop, Amarillo and Canyon luckily have a gradual increase in values year to year. When you listen to the national news you hear how bad the Real Estate market is, and they make you think that even in Amarillo and Canyon the market has fallen off. Yes it is a fact that the market in California, Arizona, Nevada and Florida has seen its better days, but in Amarillo we are still going strong. This year Amarillo will have its 3rd best year EVER, I would say that is nothing to indicate a crash in the Real Estate market. In short Amarillo and Canyon are still growing, homes are appreciating at a good rate and home prices are fair. … (0 comments)
