Negative hype. All I've seen regarding the foreclosure market here on ActiveRain is a bunch of negative hype. The only posts I've seen have featured terrible properties, posted by agents who have not been properly educated on the space of public auction. Have you seen any solid examples of good properties purchased at auction, or heard stories of people successfully making profit in the space? Sadly, I'm not finding any. I'm here to change that right now I’d like to show you a few properties that sold at auction yesterday. These are solid investments, with great income potential.

I have been investing in real estate for 16 years, mostly by buying properties at the foreclosure auction. For most of that time, I have been a ‘fix and flip’ investor, buying houses well below actual market value, paint them and add new carpets and some other cosmetic improvements and then quickly selling them. And I made a fortune doing it.
In order to make money doing this, there has to be sufficient spread between the selling price at auction, and the actual market value. You have to figure in all your costs for improvement and all the holding (0 comments)

Hi, I’m Rick Rickert, a licensed real estate broker and investor. I have 15 years’ experience buying at the foreclosure auction and Trustee sales in Maricopa and surrounding counties in Arizona. In that time I have successfully bid on 300 properties for myself and another 3000 on behalf of my clients. So when I hear people say that there is nothing left to buy at the auction, or that there are no deals left……I just shake my head and wonder what they based that ‘information’ on. In most cases if I follow up their statement with “Have you ever bought (0 comments)
