ocean ave: Boynton Beach Green Market Opens!

A new weekly green market is arriving on the grounds of the Schoolhouse Children's Museum on Ocean Ave. in downtown Boynton Beach! About 25 vendors will showcase their handmade and homegrown items from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through May 3rd. Items include jewelry, produce, juices, flowers, quilts, smoothies, barbecue, Haitian, Caribbean and other culturally diverse food, fresh herbs, baked goods and local honey. In an effort to showcase local talent, the market also will include cultural celebrations with music, themed holiday events, dance lessons, aerobics, cooking demonstrations and mini-festivals.
