 Hello!
I do hope you had a lovely Father's day. I saw a great commercial this week, that
reminded me of someone dear to me... It was a "Dad" building shish-kebabs at
the drill, and when the camera panned out, he was using his new Craftsman
screwdrivers. LOL
So, if you've been thinking of selling your home, maybe you've been putting your
own screwdrivers to use... or at least some spackling and paint. If you haven't,
you may want to take a look at our Seller Ebook -- How To Sell Your Home for Top
Dollar Fast! It gives some great ideas and perspectives on the best way to

Did you stand in line this weekend at one of the 19,700 theatres to watch the opening weekend of Batman v Superman? Whatever happened to the days  when good guys were just good guys? And explain to me why people can't see that Clark Kent is Superman... seriously? Anyway, back to my point.    Just as millions flocked to the theaters to see this new movie that had a LOT of hype, so is the Spring market like a feeding frenzy! As a home owner/seller, this seems like a GOOD thing, right? Multiple offers OVER asking. Hoorah!   So what … (0 comments)

I was chatting with my coach the other day, and she asked me, "What do you think YOUR clients appreciate MOST about you as a Realtor?"  Although initially I thought it was my years of experience and knowledge of the market, or maybe my ability to negotiate, the reality is... I think people appreciate my ability and willingness to listen.  (My team &) I truly want to understand exactly what it is you want, and WHY you want it.  Yes,we have experience and knowledge and all the credentials, but NONE of those matter until weknow what YOU want.  So I ask you, what … (1 comments)

Hi there.  I'm sure that you've heard that the Spring Market is the time to sell your home. The reason this idea is so popular is that yes, a LARGE number of homes sell between April and June, EVERY YEAR. Because of this, many homeowners, like yourself, might wait to put their homes on the market until then.
The question is whether or not that will be a good strategy this year.
Here's my position on that. More homes listed will mean greater competition for buyers. Simple economics says... as supply increases, demand decreases. More homes for sale in the market means buyers … (0 comments)

I just reviewed the report from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) on the change in home sales by price point for 2015 as compared to 2014.

Some Highlights:
Home Sales are up year-over-year in the top 4 price ranges and only slightly below last year's numbers in a fifth.
A lack of distressed property inventory has led to a slow down in sales in the under $100K price range.
As home prices continue to rise, there will be less homes available for sale in the lower ranges.

What does this mean for you, … (0 comments)

Welcome to 2016! Homes and people are starting to move!   This past week we saw 7 homes sell in Granada Hills... the prices ranged from $358,000 - $849,000, size from 1254sf-3842sf, and ages 1953-1979.   Biggest question this month?  How many days on the market?  The shortest time on market was 1 day. Yes, I said 1. The home that sold in a day, was priced at only $358,000.  Conversely, The longest, 54 days, was the highest price.  Take heart, though, as a seller, the average days on the market were 24 - and this over a month filled with holidays. Click here to see … (0 comments)

Every year at this time, many homeowners decide to wait until after the holidays to put their home on the market for the first time. Others who already have their home on the market decide to take it off the market until after the holidays. Here are six great reasons not to wait: 1. Relocation buyers are out there. Companies are not concerned with holiday time and if the buyers have kids, they want them to get into school after the holidays. 2. Purchasers that are looking for a home during the holidays are serious buyers and are ready to buy. 3. You can restrict … (0 comments)
