There is a fairly new coffee shop in our area, so Yesterday morning, I called Mom and Meri (my sister) and all agreed to meet at Cappuccino's Coffee Cafe in Atlantic Beach. I am so glad we did.... What a fabulous place. I had a Latte and a Butter Rum Muffin (that was yummy) and we all kicked back in one of several small meeting areas. As I enjoyed the Christmas Parade in Pine Knoll Shores this past Saturday, I felt Love in my heart and remembered what the season is really all about. There are still a great number of listings currently available to choose from, but that number has dropped 21.3% over the previous year... Okay, Money doesn't grow on trees..... I can't argue that one. Of course, The owners of the local Apple Orchard or the Orange Grove may feel differently, but without a lot of time, care & energy.... NOTHING.
Candy doesn't normally fall from the sky either, but it sure does during the Carolina Kite Festival! Next weekend, October 29th and 30th, 2011 Candy will be falling from the sky in Atlantic Beach during the Candy Drop!
