I started my morning by heading to the market to buy some herbs, tomato & pepper plants, and a couple of bright red geraniums. By the time I returned, the rotary Lookout Race had begun, and I had just enough time to grab the camera and take a few shots of Mom as she ran by (she came in 1st place in her division). Once the race was over, I planted all of my plants, hung my geraniums on the back deck, and took a quick break to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. (12 comments)

Life Lessons From My Four Year Old! Yesterday, after reading a post by Lenn Harley about getting the yard work done, I decided to do the same. I started by raking all of the leaves into piles...that's when Tanner (my four year old) decided to take the first plunge! I grumbled a little, raked them back into a pile, and Tanner crashed in again, sending the leaves all over the yard. As I was raking them for the third time, and explaining to Tanner not to spread them again, he replied, "But it is so much fun Mommy"! He started (65 comments)
