Florida Foreclosures Foreclosures are finally slowing down in Lee County Florida. For the first time in years Monday March 22,2010 there were no court filings for foreclosures. This does not mean it is over by no means, it is a step in the right direction though.11.9 % of all housing units in Lee county Florida were foreclosed on or in the process of foreclosure in 2009 ,21,678 filings in 2009. 2010 is starting out much better with only 1400 filings in February of 2010.
