scad: St. patrick's day--2nd in the Nation

Here in savannah we are on a count down ----as i type in the am--3/15--we are only --2 days away from the 135th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. The town is already streaming with vistors all decked in assorted colors of green and a variety of interesting green outfits! The Fountain in Forysth park has ben died green and is still sporting the green. The days leading up to the parade are full of pre-parties, and days of parties!! I love savannah!! There is always something to do in this town from Jan to June. (then it gets hot, but still things to do) and it picks up again from Sept to December-with the Film Festival, Jazz Festival, and Blues Festival-and so many things are free! You wouldn't believe how many free events there are that you can take advantage of -1st Saturday on River Street, fire works every 1st Friday, Folk music the list goes on. There is also, the free gallery hop -which goes all yr. long which I will report about later. -And SCAD -always has a free concert … (2 comments)
