There is helping, then there is crossing that line. Jackie has some very good tips and advice for those wanting to help, and a stern warning to those that want to gawk or even steal. I am so sorry to hear her brother is suffering through loss of this kind. This advice is good for all the neighborhoods in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut that have been hit hard. UPDATED UPDATE: I drove up to my house this morning, another tree fell to the back of the house. Amazing that this one just brushed the house, branches are up against the house but no damage at all. As with the others up on the hill, I have no power. We are safe and sound, we all appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Some didn't fare as well, I know our own Sheldon Neal has a tree that did damage to his house but they are safe. I know Donna Bidga had to evacuate, and I fear flooding over in that neck … (117 comments)
