What a picture day today! First a red tail hawk decided to entertain me, he must have loved having his picture taken because he circled overhead quite a few times! At home, I was looking out the window and another color explosion. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did. (These were taken with my Pentax K200D, and I do love this camera. I only hope to get more lenses as time goes by.)

I was sitting in my living room commenting on some blogs, looked out the window and had to grab my camera. I shot this just a few moments ago, and decided not to make any changes to the photo, no color changes, no brightness changes. I did take a whole series, and I think I will put them in a slide show later on, but really wanted to share this now. Isn't mother nature simply amazing? Yet one more spectacular sunset up on the Ridge!

I realized the other day that there is art outside everywhere, that many people are artists at heart, or gallery owners. They have either done some artwork on the side of a building, such as garage or barn, or silo as below, or they have purchased sculptures and proudly display them as if their yard was one big art gallery. In homage to that I have decided to find as many as I can and post them. Here is the first in what I hope to be a very successful series entitled "Fresh Air Gallery".
