RIGHT NOW! Right now is the best time to buy or sell real estate. There are many factiors contributing to this such as low home prices, the contininuing decline of home prices (in many or most areas), low mortgage rates, mortgage lenders continuing to increase their requirements to qualify for a mortgage, government loan programs such as FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc. also continuing to increase their costs and requirements for these types of loans, the strong possibility that mortgage rates will be significantly higher in the future, especially beyond the present period of time, the fact that surely home values and prices … (0 comments)
housing: Where do we go from here?

Good question! Does anybody have an idea of where we are headed? The most recent housing and economic news is bleak. With housing, we have two or three possible good months left this year, and then we start to get into the holdiays and the" DEAD of Winter". Who knows how the coming elections in November will effect the economy or in particular the housing market. Hopefully some thing positive will happen in the remaining months of 2010. housing: Where are all the buyers?

Anyone else agree that there seems to be a real shortgage of qualified buyers at this point? Especially buyers that are not contingent on selling their existing home, or who have not been able to sell their home to date. Apparently interest rates will stay low for awhile, but without a substantial increase in consumer confidence and an improvement in the job situation things don't look that good for housing or otherwise.
