My Best Real Estate Articles for January 2017
This month's list provides a variety of content choices for real estate consumers. A little something for buyers, sellers, and even an article with agents in mind made its way onto the list.
With my niche marketing already in-place, an opportunity to branch out has presented itself, and I have been exploring those blogging options recently. So far the results are good and new local buyers and sellers continue to call for assistance.

We are a progressive bunch here in the Rain, in the sense most of us are blogging to generate more business or at the very least more brand exposure. Some are happy with that level of exposure while others push boundaries looking for more ways to get found and called. We are good at that in my estimation, especially those that blog consistently.

I have yet to figure out why it happens but it sometimes does. Something you write catches my attention or perhaps it is the other way around. We share pleasantries on each others posts, perhaps send emails, even an occasional call. Before you know it we are commenting on each others content on a regular basis. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a movie star and have throngs of fans (and paparazzi) following your every move? While I do not profess to having that kind of following in my little oasis in middle GA, I do get "noticed" on occasion and it both surprises me and pumps me up a little if I am being totally honest about it.

I think we would all agree that blogging consistently can help us get "found" online by real estate consumers. Whether we are writing content about a particular niche, providing general RE information, or showing our community expertise, with a little effort we can get the phone ringing on a regular basis. For those that follow my blog regularly, some of you noticed I was scant present in the Rain this weekend (thank you for the messages...I am fine).
I made myself a promise at the beginning of the year to spend more online time diversifying my reach and have been making good on that pledge. While certainly not a consecutive days record here in the Rain, this weekend represented the first time in over 3 years I did not post a daily AR blog and it felt great!

For some reason, I find delight in finding websites and/or pages that are either unknown to the masses or simply overlooked. I shared one of these AR page gems a couple months ago with the ActiveRain Social Roster. Although this next page is a bit more widely known (I suspect), many may not be aware it exists so here it is.

After reading some very intriguing blog posts this past month it got me thinking about why I blog. As a newbie to this "social media thing", I'm still feeling my way around, but couldn't have imagined myself EVER spending my free time posting, commenting, or reading ANYTHING on a blog. Yet, here I am.
