Another hectic week but I made the effort to keep up with my social media presence and have 3 new prospects (1 from Facebook) to thank for it. You never know where the next online client will come from so the more fresh information you can provide the better. I wedged in about 45 minutes of FB "update" time this week and I am pleased with myself for not skipping the fan page maintenance. Are you scheduling periodic time to give your FB page the once over to ensure links are working, the cover photo is updated, and you are caught up on your user engagement? If not, perhaps a little slice of time this weekend is in order to get your page updated and/or cleaned up.

Maybe it is just me, but the first week of January is incredibly tiring and taxing, and it seems that way each year! Perhaps it is the post holiday blues but it always takes me a week+ at the beginning of the year to get my social media mojo back. December is finally here, quicker than some would like, but right on cue for many others (count me in this category). While many will be consumed with parties, decorating, shopping, traveling, finishing 2014 strong, 2015 planning, etc. do not forget to also spend some time focusing on your social media presence.
