December is a busy month for most of us - shocking I know LOL!! And it's also a good time to look back to see what worked and didn't work this year as well as look forward to 2017. I was happy to see that Larry Johnston created Keeping in Touch (Contest) Searching for New Ways to Stay Connected. It gives us a chance to re-group and share our ideas and thoughts with the AR community. Thanks Larry - lots of good posts already! Since I've been in the business going on 30 years I've created a planned A LOT of events

Keeping in Touch, Asking Questions, Being Organized First of all thanks to Jeff Dowler for thinking of this great idea for a contest! Most of you know I've been in business a very long time, 29 years and counting. I have figured out what works best for my clients and our business. I keep things pretty streamlined and not so darn complicated. Years ago a CRS instructor said to me - Anna do what works for you and forget all that busy work and do it consistently as possible. good business practices: Is Follow Up Important?

Is Follow Up Important? Recently I've made some big ticket purchases and it's been interesting to observe who follows up and who doesn't follow up. In one particular case I expressed my concerns with the granite installer while he was at the house and was told that he'd follow up with me. What he didn't say is 'when' he'd follow up. Fast forward a couple of days and nobody had contacted me. Today I had to contact the owner (via text) to ask him when they'd be fixing the few items that needed to be done as well
