hiking north phoenix preserve: Thankful for Nature and Hiking Phoenix Mountains! - 11/18/16 07:27 AM
 
Every day I look out over the North Phoenix Mountain Preserve and feel very thankful to live here!  Most of you know I love to hike our hills and valleys and I must have a gazillion photos from my 20+ years of hiking them - often.
 
This morning it was a bit chilly at 48 degrees. Ok I get it - that's a wimps version of  chilly!  I did grow up in Saint Cloud MN - ya know!! Needless to say I lingered in the house enjoying hot coffee before I 'braved' the cold. I didn't really feel like getting my boots … (20 comments)
