I was inspired today by Kathy Streib which happens many many days!! But today she stirred up my memories of what it was like growing up. And I was one of those lucky kids to grow up in a lovely family with great parents and an extended family. And I'm very thankful for them!

Thankful for Mistakes! Day 3
Yesterday was one of those whirl wind days with lots of balls bouncing and not enough time. Jan Green and I had planned to meetup at 5:00 to discuss an upcoming CRS event I'm putting together for 2018 of which I'd love to have her do her Eco Green Class for the agents.
I happened to jump on FB while I was waiting in a line and saw a sweet picture of Jan and her grandson. I left a comment and added - See you at 4:30! I went on my way and about a half hour … (17 comments)

Thankful for Slow Cookers! Day 2
When the fall season arrives and it gets dark outside so early that means it's Slow Cooker Season to me! There is nothing better than coming home at night and smelling something yummy and ready to go. Tonight we're going to enjoy a turkey breast along with aspargus - yum! And of course Gary must have his mashed potatoes and gravy:) Normally we like to grill out most nights but when we've both got busy schedules I have learned to keep it simple. I'm thankful that Debbie Reynolds brings out the thankfulness in all of us, especially before Thanksgiving! I so love reading everyone's posts on thankfullness. I truly do! Thank You Debbie!
On a daily basis I am appreciative of so many things in my day, whether it be the sun shining in, a soft breeze, a sweet call from a friend.....there are so many thankful thoughts and feelings all day long.
