There are a plethora of to-do lists out there for what you should do as a soon-to-be-homeowner, but what about all the to-DON’TS?
This is arguably just as important to know so you can recognize a mistake before you fall victim to it. Here are some to-don’ts as you’re prepping to buy:
Don’t view homes before getting pre-approved. Getting pre-approved first will streamline the process and make securing a deal much easier.
Don’t make big purchases before closing. Keep that credit score healthy!
Don’t cancel a credit card before closing. Again, do everything you can to make that credit score in good shape!
