There is no place on earth like Wellington!  During horse show season which runs from November thru the end of April, there are more shows in Wellington than in any other city of this country.  Thousands of horses ship in and stay for at least 3 months. 
Right after Thanksgiving, Wellington takes on a new character.  It's a transformation from a sleepy village in the Florida summer heat to an equestrian magnet.
So, how can you tell when the season is here?  Here are some obvious signs even the

Where did the summer go? Just a few more days and we'll be in November, the official start of a new equestrian season here in Wellington.
For everybody interested in dressage, the first Gold Coast Dressage Show is the "Fall Fling" on November 12 and 13, to will be held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center.  Next is the "Holiday Challenge" presented by Wellington Classic Dressage on December 8 and 9.  Once we are into January there will be shows almost every weekend.  The high light of the season is the World Dressage Masters, a CDI5+ show on January 26 thru the 28th.
