It's time to start getting ready for Yardley Borough's Annual Recycling Day, sponsored by the Yardley Environmental Advisory Committee and  held this year on Saturday April 27 from 9 am to 1 pm at Buttonwood Park, adjacent to Yardley Town Center.
 
Accepted Items Include:
Computers and related equipment
Electronics
TVs, DVD/VCR/VHS/Beta players
Bicycles (any condition)
Cell phones (any condition, yesr, make, model)
Printer/toner/fax cartridges
Paper, documents, CDs, DVDs with shredding on site
Dry and clean sneakers (NO metal cleats or dirty wet shoes) Can be dropped off at

recycling: Falls Township Christmas Tree Recycling Program - 12/28/11 01:18 AM
Falls Township Christmas Tree Recycling Program  Falls Township Christmas trees will be picked up for composting on Saturday, January 7 and Saturday, January 14, 2012.  Township residents are advised NOT to put trees out for pickup prior to the January 7th tree composting collection date. Christmas trees will NOT be picked up prior to January 7th. Also, there will be NO pickup during the week between the two pickup dates. 
 
After the final January 14th pickup date, trees can be put out with the regular trash.
PLEASE NOTE:

It's not easy being GREEN! The challenges of being a GREEN REALTOR® are interesting, sometimes frustrating, and as varied as the minutes of a day.  I earned the GREEN designation last year to sharpen my skills on GREEN issues, to better serve my clients. Occasionally, I will work with a prospective buyer who is interested in going GREEN all the way - possibly looking at solar panels for their roof, and inquiring about geothermal energy alternatives.
