Another glorious fall day is half over in Steamboat Springs, CO.....I continue to pinch myself....for 38 years, to be exact, that I live in the beautiful Yampa Valley! Steamboat Springs real estate sales continue to rock, with 35 sales totaling $27,438,432 this past week as reported by the Steamboat Pilot. Of note, a North Routt home on the Elk River closed for $7 million. Steamboat real estate transactions for the past week included 12 single family closed sales, 12 condo/townhomes, 6 lot/land, and 5 commercial/industrial. Sunday morning fly over the Steamboat Ski Resort It's an odd thing....the Steamboat Pilot reports $14,343,100 in real estate sales this past week for July 30-31....hmmm.....mistake, or did all of these transactions record with the Routt County Clerk and Recorder the week before Thursday and Friday only? Regardless, it was another great week of Steamboat Springs real estate sales with 20 transactions closed, 6 of which were single family sales, 11 condo/townhomes, 2 lot/land, and 1 commercial/industrial sale for over $4 million. Another Steamboat sunset... $16,575,607 in Steamboat Springs real estate sales were reported by the Steamboat Pilot yesterday with an additional $597,729 in fractional and time share closed transactions. Two significant transactions were raw land sales valued at just over $5.6 million total. Single family homes represented 9 of the closed transactions, 14 were condo/townhomes, 3 were lot/land and 2 were commercial/industrial Steamboat Springs area real estate sales. Saturday evening Sunday morning Possibly the most important corollary to the Steamboat Springs ranchers' adage that "only fools and newcomers try to predict the weather" is " if you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes"....or in this case 11 hours..... Yet again, proven to be fact! (same photo location...just 11 hour time lapse) Robust activity continues in the Steamboat Springs real estate market with new inventory coming to market replacing that which is going "under contract", yet we seem to lack momentum in gaining additional inventory.
