Oh, the fun of a blue sky aerial tour of Steamboat Springs as Rod and I went for a New Year's Day flight around the beautiful Yampa Valley!
Steamboat Springs real estate closed the year with 4 sales reported but the Steamboat Pilot for $1,431,731 this past week. (I'm certain there were more, just probably missed being recorded during this reporting period.....) 3 of the reported sales were closed condo/townhome Steamboat Springs real estate transactions and 1 was a commercial/industrial closed sale.

The other WOW is Steamboat Springs real estate sales. Since I last reported Steamboat real estate sales volume for November 5-12, 2015, we have seen over $109,000,000 in Steamboat Springs area real estate sales volume as reported by the Steamboat Pilot.

The Yampa Valley....ahhh We love when the Yampa Valley stays green all summer, but the rain subsides just in time for the ranchers to get their haying done!
The Steamboat Pilot reported over $12 million total Steamboat Springs real estate sales this past week with $11,846,000 of those Steamboat Springs area sales as whole ownership transactions. The 23 Steamboat real estate sales break down to 12 single family, 9 condo/townhome, 2 lot/land, and no commercials sales were recorded this past week.

Our pet moose? Of course it snows in Steamboat once the Steamboat Ski Resort is closed! However, intertwined with those blustery days are glorious days of bluebird skies and warm temperatures with bicyclists abundant throughout the Yampa Valley.
Steamboat Springs is somewhat of a ghost town this week with spring break for the schools sending most families in search of sandy beaches and tan lines. Moose in Elkins Meadow Time does indeed fly when one is having fun! I've been to Charleston, SC, Atlanta and Gainesville, GA, and had my UGA college roommate visiting in Steamboat Springs. And now I see that I missed my weekly Steamboat Springs real estate update the past 3 weeks! Here's the recap.
March 6-12 showed 17 sales reported by the Steamboat Pilot newspaper for total sales of $8,054,008 plus $1,087,000 of fractional/time share sales. Of those 17 whole ownership sales, 2 were single family, 9 were condo/townhome, 5 were lot/land, and 1 was commercial/industrial.
