Joanne was looking for a new mobile home to put next to the lake when her brother-in-law, an air traffic controller, had an unorthodox suggestion. After losing her last home to a fire, this time Ms. Ussery, a hairdresser, decided on something fireproof...  A 127 foot Boeing 727!  She paid $2,000 for the fuselage, $4,000 for a house-moving company to move it to her lot, six months and $25,000 to renovate it. Still under construction in Dubai, Hydropolis is the world's first luxury underwater hotel. It will include three elements: the land station, where guests will be welcomed, the connecting tunnel, which will transport people by train to the main area of the hotel, and the 220 suites within the submarine leisure complex. It is one of the largest contemporary construction projects in the world, covering an area of 260 hectares. It was to open at the end of 2008, but weather, cold, has constantly help up construction.
