The inland Empireis blessed with a myriad of of parks.The range from simple simple green belts with a few benches to ball fields and regional parks large and small.Did I mention lakes and national forests? In a three mile stretch of road in Southridge from Cherry Ave to Sierra Ave there were six parks that I counted. these included Martin Tudor /swim lagoon, The Nature Center, SouthRidge Park with the biking trails on one side and Don Day Community Center on the other side.

The Don Day Community Center is another hidden gem in the Southridge community. It is adjacent to the Southridge Park at Cherry Ave and Live Oak. I have lived in Southridge since 1994. It is perhaps one of the more active neighborhoods in Fontana, the city of action. The Jurapa Hills form a great backdrop to this great community.
