Just when you thought you'd have a break from the snow - another storm warning!! I, like many other folks in SouthEastern WIsconsin dug out from the Sunday/Monday snowstorm - well, kind of. I shoveled my walk and it blew back in last night. So - time to shovel AGAIN! I just received another weather alert - a "Winter Storm Warning". One of the newest strip centers in the Falls now has opened a medical center.....The Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert and Community Health has opened the Endocrinology Center at North Hills. This treatment center is for diabetes and other endocrine disorders. The Menomonee Falls center is staffed by Medical College of Wisconsin faculty physicians, with expertise in diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome and pituitary, thyroid and lipid disorders. It's that time of year again. The Menomonee Falls "Big Pig Gig". Come to downtown Menomonee Falls on Saturday and Sunday September 20th and 21st! New this year - Pigs on display - NO not the real thing - fancy pigs! There will be a scavenger hunt for the "Pigs on d". Nine area businesses will be showcasing life-sized pig statues decorated by local artists. Pick up a tally sheet at the Menomonee Falls Chamber of Commerce office, visit the stores and see the Pigs on display at the Park.

The Menomonee Falls Optimist Club is dedicated to "Bringing out the best in kids". Meetings are held every Wednesday morning at 7:15 am and over quickly so you can make it to work. The Falls Club is the largest in the state of Wisconsin and presently has 150 active members.
