Just as an FYI to all Agents that get frustrated with their clients purchase of an REO Property, here are some ground rules to keep in mind: Hurry Up and Wait - Yes, you submitted your offer at 4:52 yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, we don't have a response from them just yet, seeing as it's only 10:35 in the morning. Walking around Texas, most know the two main types of foundations commonly seen in our area: slab and pier-and-beam. Today, though, I was schooled a bit on a Screeded Slab, little known and ever-elusive. Here’s a breakdown of foundation types for you:
Slab (Concrete) – The most prevalent of all foundations in D/FW and the fastest and cheapest of the three. Slab foundations can be quite stable if constructed right.
