Enjoy a Touch of Spring. The Pennsylvania Punxsutawney Groundhog did not see his shadow last week so maybe most of the country will have early spring.
Well, I can't wait so I just had to put together this beautiful basket of pansies. Enjoy!!!
BTW I live in Erie, PA where we average 101 inches snow during winter, but I refuse to let the weather prevent me from enjoying life.

Another Beautiful Sunset
Winter sunsets seem more dramatic when viewed across a snowy landscape.
Driving west from downtown Erie the sky was on fire. I hurried to capture a final glimpse of tonight's sunset and made a quick detour down to Avonia Beach/Lake Erie. However, I was too late to get a good shot so I raced back up the hill to get this photo from my front porch.

Sunlight dancing in the woods. Look at the photo straight on; move to the right and look at the photo; then move to the left and look again.
Notice the difference.
The sunlight seems to be dancing in the woods. I desperately wanted to walk into the woods just to be there and absorb the serenity.
