Accidental Opportunity. When bumping into or being bumped into could open the opportunity to do business in the future. This morning my daughter had a bit of a bump Okay she was rear ended. Once we determined she was okay, the other driver and I talked. Turns out she is a mortgage broker. What is the definition of a Farmer? It is a person "Out-standing" in their field! Okay I know it was corny, I have come to realize we are Farmers of Sorts. Not the postcard term necessarily. Mrs. Buyer and her Husband are in their 80's. They are tired of living in Polk County and wanted to be closer to the kids and grandkids. Holidays are a time when the family gathers together. Remember 2006? Wasn't exactly a banner year for us in Central Florida, but we held firm and waited patiently. We aadvised our clients (sellers) they needed to adjust their prices based on the market conditions, and slowly, very slowly.... we saw less had expired and more offers were being made. Offers have an expiration date too. Like a carton of Milk. And what has been happening lately is really interesting. Coming from NYC and growing up in the shadow of mass transportation, overcrowded schools, people herding onto subways like sardines, and traffic jams that took hours out of daily life...
A lot can be said for re-discovering the country. I came to realize that Urban living works for some people but not for others. central florida: St. Cloud Approves Purchase of $565,000 Lakefront Lot For Parking Area

The St. Cloud City Council approved the purchase of two lots comprising approximately an acre of land on Lakeshore Boulevard and New York Avenue at a cost to the taxpayers of $565,000. Local area residents disapproved of the conversion of the land for use as an "overflow" parking area despite assurances from the City they will fence the property when it is not in use.
