Montana State University's architecture students must have been inspired by the "Tiny House Builders" T.V. show recently, because they're taking concepts from the show to build "Small Shelters" for the homeless. After a class with MSU's architecture professor, and cooperation with Bozeman's Human Resources Development Council Small Shelter Initiative (HRDC), the students built two prototypes for their "Small Shelter" concept.They built two full-size models, one large and one small. After tracking scholarship winnings for the first time in Bozeman High School’s history, the College and Career center announced that BHS students received more than 1.7 million dollars in scholarships for college. These scholarships were application based awards, requiring hard work and consistent support from both the students and the center.

For the second year in a row, Bozeman High School has the best ACT scores in the state. Current Bozeman seniors averaged a 22.8 composite score when they took the test last year as high school juniors.
Montana averaged a score of 20.4 and the US average sat at 21. In 2014, Bozeman averaged a total score of 22.5, so test scores continue to improve.
Bozeman High surpassed the averages of all other State AA school districts including Helena, (21.5), Missoula (21.2), Great Falls (20.5), Kalispell (20.3), Billings (20.2) and Butte (20.2).

The Bozeman School district received great news from the Bozeman community on November 3rd, when voters passed 21.5 million dollars worth of bonds to expand both the Hawthorne Elementary School and Sacajawea Middle School.
Now, district officials can turn their sites towards a second high school in Bozeman.
As Bozeman grows, the community will need to continue funding the schools to help them address the rising student population and keep Bozeman the wonderful community that has attracted so many new residents.

At the end of September, Bozeman and County Commissioners agreed to hire an architect to design the new law and justice center for the local area. The effort would be a shared joint effort between county and city governments, necessitated from the overall costs of such a project. Hiring an architect shows each government’s resolve to get the project approved and underway in Bozeman.

The total value of all homes in the United States grew for a third straight year according to zillow.com. The total value of all homes in 2014 reached 27.5 trillion dollars, up 1.8 trillion from 2013.
In 2013, home values had grown up to 25.7 trillion, up 1.9 trillion from 2012. From 2012 to 2013, home values rose by 7.9 percent. From 2013 to 2014, home values rose by 6.7 percent.
