I love what I do and this past week, I did it three times. I staged a condo in Atlanta, a house in Decatur, and an Atlanta investor property in Atlanta, all in three days. Yes, it was a lot of work but at the same time, exhilarating.

Buyers, when viewing homes first-hand, are no doubt going to walk away with an opinion.
Whether good, or bad, they'll likely refer back to your home with some sort of description.
What we don't want to hear from buyers are statements such as these:
"Honey, remember that home with the dated wallpaper?"
Or...
"I loved that last home we saw but... there was so much clutter, I had a hard time visualizing our things in there."

Measuring your success as a home stager Personally, I measure my success based on how quickly a home goes under contract after staging. Others may believe that the quantity of homes one has staged at the same time is a good indication. There's definitely two sides of every coin and I'm not here to suggest that having a large quantity of homes staged is a bad thing. I currently have 17 homes staged at the moment. Can Home Staging a $69K Home Help? Some may argue that having a $69K listing staged simply doesn't make sense. However, the Atlanta investor, who has used me on his last four homes, would argue that it makes sense at any price point. Three of the four listings have gone under contract in less than one week. What a month! I was notified late last week that another one of the homes I had staged just went under contract. Days before that, another one of the homes that I had staged went under contract one week from staging and for full asking price. This was a sign I read on a corner of an intersection a couple of weekends ago. Not only did it catch my attention, it's a sign I haven't forgotten.
