 An interesting Truth in Lending (“TILA”) case came out of Alabama District Court recently.  The case is Squires v. BAC Home Loans Servicing, LP.  (Case#1:11-cv-00413-WS-M.
The case is interesting because we have what we see in a lot of cases -  a MERS assignment of a beneficial interest in the note and mortgage (deed of trust) to the loan servicer so the loan servicer can begin its foreclosure proceedings.  … (0 comments)
