Sales: According the Lee County Association of REALTORS MLS, Lee County area residential sales totaled 155 units in August, an increase in sales growth of 9.2 percent or 13 units above the same period last year. This represents sales levels not experienced for the month of August since 2006 when 176 units closed. Year-to-date sales through August are up 19.4 percent from 2014. Two more resources to review market: Quarterly Report and Annual Report Forecast: August sales were 16 units or 11.5 percent above our monthly forecast. Auburn University earns sixth consecutive Tree Campus USA designation Published: 08/12/2015 By: Mallory Ferguson Auburn University has once again earned the Tree Campus USA designation from the Arbor Day Foundation, recognizing Auburn for promoting healthy trees and engaging staff and students in conservation efforts. There are more than 8,000 trees on the 601 acres of Auburn's campus and the count continues to grow. In 2014, 179 new trees were planted on campus. The trees are managed by Landscape Services, the Athletics Department, the Department of University Housing and others. The university has supported the Arbor Day Foundation's five core values by establishing a tree advisory (0 comments)
