The City of Opelika will close the old South Uniroyal Road access to U.S. 280 Tuesday (10/7/14) and Wednesday (10/8/14) as the Alabama Department of Transportation conducts a traffic study in the intersection.
ALDOT will conduct the traffic count in compliance with the rules and regulations which govern state highway departments in an effort to expedite the placement of a traffic signal at the new intersection on South Uniroyal Road.
