first time home buyer: After 9 offers they are finally under contract

I must say I am so excited for my first time buyers who finally got a offer accepted on a property they love! This client has placed 9 offers since January 2012 and they finally received an acceptance.
The offers they were placing were good offers not low ball offers...most were full price and asking for 3 percent closing cost. However every time they made and offer it came back multiple offers requesting highest and best.
I know they wanted to throw in the towel, but we talked through the frustration and I educated them on current market … (6 comments)

December 29, 2011^ Day 29 It seems like just yesterday when we started this challenge and I didn't know if I would make it all the way through, but so far so good. Well, I wrote my first contract using the new purchase and sales agreement we have in Georgia. Of course there's been a lot of hoopla about this. Just a few days ago here on AR there was a "heated" exchange between someone in the mortgage business and a real estate agent. I tried to go back and find their post, but I am unable to locate them right now.
