Woodinville Wine Country Events Woodinville wineries independently offer individual events throughout the year including special release parties in the spring and fall, Bastille Day and Grape Stomp, FREE outdoor concerts, ballroom dancing, BBQs, and of course happy hours and wine tastings. Cheers! Matthews Estates- Come join at Matthews Estate for an evening of dancing, fun and wine starting June 26th until July 31st! Each Tuesday from 7:00-9:00pm for 6 weeks, Jack Schroeder, an accredited ballroom instructor for the past 30 years, will teach you how to Ballroom dance for beginners, included will be fox trot, waltz and rumba. The original Burke Gilman trail connected Gas Works Park and Tracy Owen Station in Kenmore 12.1 miles away. The trail was formerly owned by Burlington Northerner Railroad and was abandon in 1971 a citizen group launched a campaign to acquire the abandon railroad tracks and turn it into a non-motorized public biking and walking trail. After some opposition from residents living around the trail was overcome the City of Seattle and the University of Washington go developed the original 12.1 mile route from Gas Works Park to Tracy Owen station Most of the original trail that follows the west (2 comments)
