Looking for a great place to take the family for fireworks? Acworth puts on one of the best firework shows in the Atlanta area. Take a swim on the lake, bring your boat, bring a blanket, just bring it! There will be live music concerts and once again, Acworth will welcome back FLASHBACK hitting the stage at 8:00pm. Admission to the fireworks and concert is free. If you do not have an Acworth Parking Pass (I do) or parking is full, you can park downtown and take the shuttle. The City of Acworth is pleased to announce that the Acworth Community has been selected as a 2010 All America City. The National Civic League's All America City Award Competition was held June 16 through June 18 in Kansas City, Missouri where twenty five cities from across the nation competed for the coveted designation.
