Sometimes giving is easy, sometimes it’s hard. Everyone has to make their own choices as to what causes, individuals or organizations to share some of their time with- and folks’ choices and their reasons behind them are surely as unique as the individuals themselves.

Aloma's loss, First Baptist Atlanta's gain- one of God's soldiers marches on... This is a tough one. There's an old Tennessee Ernie Ford country Gospel song that instructs us to live by the will of God, and to a call- or as it says, "Children go where I send thee...". The Lord has chosen to lead Pastor Anthony George away from sunny Central Florida and Aloma Church- and has steered him towards First Baptist Atlanta. Well, I made it. Though my faith failed me for a bit in the end, God never did. Just as I'd resigned myself to the fact that my Realtor-ness would come to an end effective 1/1 (or today, however it is that they whack folks when they whack 'em), the Lord came through for me. The lights are on- but some things are clearer in the dark My power's back on. Now, that might not seem like a big deal- as folks lose power and get it back on all the time. Storms and their winds do a number on power lines, and many a pole falls victim to them. Not the case here, though! My power's been off since November 17th, though- and my service fell victim to a different kind of storm.
