It seems so simple- don't give up. It's just a few words and a simple directive...so it should be easy, right?
Wrong.
Anyone who has ever earned anything worth anything, or accomplished anything they're reasonably proud of in their life will surely attest that it wasn't all that easy. Giving up is easy. Fighting for what you want when the odds are against you, sweating and training while others play, working long hours while your friends are out partying- that's hard.
Today and every day, may the Lord bless and keep you. May your cupboards never be bare, may your hearts always be filled with gladness and appreciation for what He has provided. May you have a safe, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving- and may you have safe travels both to and from any of your destinations this weekend. An older gentleman dies- but a young lady only 20 years old must deal with having run him over as he walked in front of her for the rest of her life. From 5:30-7:30 this coming Monday evening, August 6th, our Orlando Regional Realtor Association (ORRA) will join with the Central Florida Veterans, Inc. in hosting a reception for candidates seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives from Florida's 5th,7th,8th,9th and 10th congressional districts.

Today's message from "the trail" is a fairly simple one. I support Chick-fil-A. I've supported Chick-fil-A since 1985, and I will continue to support Chick-fil-A.
The message in the current "Chick-fil-A debate" is equally clear: Chick-fil-A does not stand for hate- never has. Folks aren't coerced into eating at Chick-fil-A- never will be. If you don't feel you can eat at Chick-fil-A because Dan Cathy's words are not in keeping with your beliefs, so be it. Stand by your beliefs as I'll stand by mine.
"Not in there- my mom has strep...." I've never had strep throat. I speak about it from time to time, though. I guess it comes from my odd sense of humor that finds it pretty dang funny that I can have epilepsy, narcolepsy, sleep apnea and a peripheral mononeuropathy- but I've never had the flu, bronchiitis, chicken pox or other any other "childhood diseases"...or strep throat. HARP me this, HAMP me that... Underwater owners still singin' the blues... Some things just don't seem right- never have, probably never will. Aurora's no Columbine, Sanford no Selma Like many Americans, I was at a loss for words when I first heard the news out of Aurora, Colorado last week. The news that the opening-night excitement of one of this year's blockbuster films had been trumped by an actual tragedy of epic proportions was (and remains) truly disturbing. It's Kegerator Thursday! As everyone that's spent a decent amount of time on the road showing properties will tell you, you never know what awaits behind that door. Could be a pitbull, could be a property your tenants have trashed (or are in the process of trashing)...could be pizza boxes under a bed or a brown pool in the back. Or...it could be The Kegerator...
Very seldom are our lives truly boring. Things may be going well one day and poorly the next. One may be on the brink of despair one evening- yet find themselves celebrating one of their life's greatest accomplishments the following morning. Good, bad, ups, downs, positives and negatives come our way.

Greetings, everyone. It's another great Orlando day- temperature's surely climbing (maybe 93 today), but not much in the way of humidity and not many clouds to mention.
