Yes, fellow ActiveRainers, I'm alive and well.  And no, I haven't really been missing missing- just missing from here for the better part of the year so far.
 
I never planned on being away so long, quite frankly.  As some might remember, I had had a long-held philosophical opposition to Facebook.  I finally relented and joined the dang site at the very end of December (and when I say very end, I mean New Year's Eve or very close to it) and even posted on here and mentioned something along the lines of "this won't keep … (3 comments)
