Where’s the Washer and Dryer?
 
This is the question a listing agent friend of mine told me she was asked by the buyer’s agent when he was doing the final walkthrough prior to closing on my friend’s listing.
 
The listing agent’s answer: 
"The sellers took the washer and dryer to their new home.   They were NOT included in the deal."
 
The buyer’s agent was shocked realizing a mistake was made.  Likely, the buyers were disappointed and unhappy with the empty laundry room.

You're almost at the end of the transaction.  You can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but you're not done yet.  It's time to schedule the walkthrough of your soon-to-be home.
The main purpose of the final walkthrough is to be sure the property is in the condition you expect it to be and nothing has changed (except for normal wear and tear) since the contract was made.  Period.
