Our mayor's secretary in Broadview Heights, Ohio sends us regular e-mail messages from the mayor's office to keep us informed about the city. Yesterday we received a brief reminder to remember to call 811 before we or our contractor do any digging on our property. I had not heard of this before so I did a little research. In the Pipeline Safety Improvement Act of 2002, Congress mandated the establishment of a national 3 digit number.
