golf courses: Hard to find in West Seattle!

West Seattle is a wonderful place to live. It seems everyone I've talked to who has moved to West Seattle never want to leave. Its as if some alien life form sucks them in to the area and has a grasp on them and won't let go. And why should they want to leave? They have all the amenities usually just blocks away in any one direction. Fast, easy access to downtown, Qwest and Safeco, the ferries, I-5, I-90 the list goes on. Not to mention the waterfront'.

119 new homes on the market as I write this! Doesn't seem like alot but it only takes 5 minutes to drive through the town and that includes its one stop light! www.cityoforting.org The small town is Booming! People want to move here. Starbucks and Safeway did! The builders can't build the homes fast enough. And its one of my Golf Course Communities. It is probably going to be one of my least expensive golf course communities featured on the blog. But probably won't be for long. Located in Orting, Washington is High Cedars Golf Course, www.highcedars.com To start, this course has some excellent practice facilities to include, driving range, chipping green and putting green. I played the course the first week of February on a overcast day and was in great condition taking into consideration our recent weather. The price was, too my surprise, affordable at $20 to walk. The #1 hole is a great starting hole being a Par 5 dogleg right, immeditely following is #2, a long par 3.
