What Do Real Estate Agents and Car Salesmen Have in Common? You all know how much of the public views us as not much better than used car salesmen. Well why is that? Is it the few rotten apples that spoil the barrel? Does the public not realize how hard we work? Is it the "easy entry" or low barrier to licensing? Do they perceive us as over paid? First and foremost, we have learned that is is a REAL job and we need to treat it that way! Second, we are the CEOs of our business and therefore we answer to ourselves and to our shareholders, who are mostly ourselves.
