A couple days ago as yet another Winter storm marches across the U.S. we wrote: Punxsutawney Phil 'indicted' over spring forecast Well like most crimminals, they know when they are guilty and they decide to get a lawyer to help them cop a plea or put up a strong defense.

CINCINNATI — A shadow of a different kind is hanging over Punxsutawney Phil. "Authorities in still-frigid Ohio have issued an "indictment" against the famed groundhog, who predicted an early spring when he didn't see his shadow after emerging from his lair in western Pennsylvania on Feb. 2.
