ossipee nh real estate: New Map Based Ossipee NH Real Estate search site - 03/13/11 03:13 PM
Spring seems to be ready to arrive here in Northern NH and searching Ossipee NH real estate for sale got easier just in time.
As a local real estate agent in the Ossipee and Freedom NH area I am working to make the map functions better all the time. Competition in a marketplace inspires creativity, hard work and innovation. The market wants competing brokers. If one broker lists too many properties, what makes him/her promote one house more than another? The market makes it clear when we see real estate brokers from Salem NH and Rochester and Wolfeboro with listings for … (0 comments)

ossipee nh real estate: Ossipee Waterfront Value is a bank owned waterfront real estate dream come true in Ossipee NH - 08/11/10 03:50 PM
Just a quick market recap on the Ossipee NH waterfront real estate market for August 2010:
It is in tough shape! With foreclosed real estate on Ossipee Lake waterfront at an all time high this year, the bank owned lakefront homes are some of the only properties that have sold and have set the values for future sales.
My foreclosure property listing for sale at Weetamoe Shores Association in Ossipee NH is a perfect example of bank owned property values. Unit #9 at 80 Weetamoe Rd. in Ossipee NH is set on the grounds of a former set of camps … (0 comments)

ossipee nh real estate: How to sell your Ossipee Nh real estate in the summer of 2010 - 06/11/10 07:16 AM
So you want to sell your home in Ossipee NH this summer?
The first thing you should look for is a real estate agent that hangs out around town. Look in breakfast joints and bars. Look for guys in camel hair jackets. No, not really...
95% of home buyers, especially vacation property buyers, search for real estate in Ossipee by using the internet.
So, what do you think? Should you put your real estate in the hands of someone that has reluctantly adopted the web because they had to just to stay alive in the business or should you work with … (0 comments)

ossipee nh real estate: So what do I think is the best value in Ossipee NH real estate for sale? - 05/28/10 08:31 AM
As an Ossipee NH area real estate broker I have to answer this in 2 parts: Ossipee NH waterfront real estate and non waterfront Ossipee NH real estate.
Ossipee NH is in a unique location. It is isolated from the regional hub of the North Conway NH real estate market by anywhere from a 10 min. to 20 min. drive, making it easily accessible to the restaurants, ski resorts and attractions of northern Carroll County NH, while at the same time Ossipee itself has a laid back, country camp type feel and a slower pace. Ossipee Lake is an attraction yet … (0 comments)

ossipee nh real estate: What is the outlook for Ossipee NH real estate in the rest of 2010? - 05/27/10 07:39 AM

According to economists at Moody's Analytics, what is now being referred to as the Great Recession is technically over. Unfortunately, the harm from this financial downturn was serious enough that it will take more than a year until it feels really over to us ordinary people, especially in local areas like Ossipee NH.
There's a reason this recession has hurt so many: The economists say it has lasted twice as long and was twice as deep as the average of the past 10 recessions the nation has experienced since 1948. The New Hampshire unemployment rate, which is now 7.2 percent … (0 comments)

ossipee nh real estate: You asked: Why is Ossipee NH such a great place to buy a home right now? - 05/14/10 06:52 AM
I have to take responsibility for not elaborating enough in my last post in regard to why Ossipee is the current "hot spot" on my real estate radar.
My primary reason for believing that Ossipee is a great value right now is that pricesin Ossipee NH have dropped the most in Carroll County . One of the predominate factors in this is the slightly higher in county average number of foreclosed home sales. Another factor is the sluggish job market in the construction trades and tourism industry in the area. Demand is low.
I also think that Ossipee NH is a … (0 comments)

ossipee nh real estate: Ossipee NH Real Estate - The new best value thanks to the great outdoors and a few foreclosures - 05/13/10 06:36 AM
As I make my way back and forth and up and down Carroll County NH as a real estate broker I get to see a lot of different areas, beautiful scenery and a wide range of property values. At one point I have been in every town hall from Ossipee NH, Sandwich NH and Moultonborough to Jackson NH, Bartlett NH and even beyond. A majority of the time I am going to one of these many NH town halls to find the document called, "The Tax Card" for a property that one asset manager or bank or another has asked me … (0 comments)

ossipee nh real estate: Is the North Conway NH real estate market affected by the bank owned homes in NH and Maine? - 05/13/10 03:53 AM
People are always asking, "How are the foreclosures in the area? They must really be driving down the prices!". My answer is pretty straightforward: "The number of bank owned homes for sale in North Conway, or Bartlett or Jackson is not large enough to cause serious damage to home values in general, but the volume of bank owned properties in NH, ME and VT over-all, has an impact on the value of second homes." What I try to point out is that values in most of the United States are depressed, but regionally we did not experience the same level of … (0 comments)
