Pet Vaccinations Can Cause Emergencies...Beware of Dangerous Symptoms
Today was just a normal day and I had an appointment to take my two chihuahuas to the vet for their annual 5-1 shot and Rabies.
Of course they acted up and one slipped her halter but we finally go situated in the examining room and waited. Here is a picture of the two of them moving the chair across the room. The photo is a little blury as I had to stop them at the door.

2 Friendly Dogs While Showing Property Yesterday
Yes, I was showing property and when we went into the backyard, here were two adorable Dobbies and surprising enough they were nt barking. My dogs are not well behaved and would have been barking the whole time we were in the yard but not these guys.
I love showing property and when I meet friendly guys like this, it makes it more special. I did not get too close because they were bigger than me so I took the photo from about 25 feet. There is always a lot of nice … (15 comments)

In Memory of Miss Abbigail Potts- You Will be Missed
Abby was 12.5 years old and she had had a wonderful life with a large family. Just recently she was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and pancreatitus. After a regimine of 9 pills 2 X daily, she just stopped eating and drinking totally. My dearest friend, the dog's owner, knew it was the right time to let her go. She will be missed greatly.

Support Your Local Real Estate Vendors and They Will Support You
Yesterday our Board of Realtors had the yearly EXPO. It is so much fun as they set up stations and there was 55 different vendors there. They had freebies and raffles at all the stations. They served lunch and it included a Realtor/Service Providers free lucheon. Everyone got a big card and had to get all the stations to sign it off. Then you turned it in for the raffle for the free Mini iPad and you had to be present to win.

It was a Dog-Day Afternoon at our Home Improvement Stores
Yesterday while shopping at our two big box stores, I found this cutie shopping with her mother at Home Depot in Redlands.
This adorable little poodle was enjoying the coolness in the plant department at Lowe's in Redlands.
My girls were at home as they like to hang out inside most of the day on hot afternoons on lay by the pool.

Yes, we got new pink jackets with hoods and they keep us warm.

I had cleared the table and looked over and Tootie had jumped up in one of the chairs and was looking for the turkey. She looked so sad and just laid her head on the table. After I cleaned up the kitchen, I gave all three dogs some turkey bites. After we cut the pie, she was up there again looking at me like “Where’s the Pie”. I am going to have to keep the chairs tucked in to keep her off the table!

Oh my gosh, yesterday afternoon I put my three little dogs outside and a few minutes later, I see them all sitting by the door waiting to get back in. As I approached, I see something sitting in front of CoCo on the cement. What did you bring me?
And to my horror, I realized it was a dead rat. So I quickly grabbed a paper towel and got the rat away from the dogs and put it in the green waste can.

Lounging by the Pool
Today I put the dog beds outside to sit in the sun and air out. A couple of minutes later I looked outside and two of my dogs had plopped down on the beds and sat out by the pool about 30 minutes until the hummingbirds started dive bombing them. I just thought this was so cute!

Meet Cooper, Elvis' pal.
I just had to share this wonderful photo done by Marnie Matarese. The title of her post is great because it makes you wonder what she is talking about. I guessed dogs in a park maybe but no...Instead I find Elvis' friend Cooper, her big Lab's play pal climbing out of the pool with a ball still in his mouth. What is so amazing is the water dripping off him, like she got it in slow motion.

I had noticed that one of my bird feeders had not needed refilling all week?? This morning when I went to bring my dogs back inside, this is what I found. They were up on the retaining wall waiting for the birds! And where were the birds? They were up on the fence just watching from a far.
That is what I will be doing today; moving the birdfeeder higher up on the hill so the birds can safely get back to the feeder! Remember to feed the birds!

Friendship Friday- Lunch with Mary and While the Cats Away………
Met my friend Mary today for lunch as it is Friday; yes Friendship Friday. For any of you who have not read my blog before, I meet with friends every Friday. Work all week but Friday lunch is my time to relax and enjoy friends. Today we met at the restaurant “Olive Garden” for the soup and salad special. Yummy, it is my favorite. And they have a new sauce, mushroom with sun dried tomatoes on top. Of course I didn’t order it and wished I had.
