Speechless Sunday- My Special Hummingbird Nest! In the spring, while checking on the size of the plums growing on my plum tree, I came face to face with this hummingbird nest. I didn’t want to scare her as she was protecting her eggs. I enjoyed watching the male bird bring her food for the next couple of weeks. Finally we had baby birds peeking their heads up out of the nest and eventually flying away. I miss the birds and hope they will come back next year.

Home Price The supply of homes measured in months on the market at their current pace was up during June compared to May. This is keeping with inventory levels typically rise during the summer months. Month's supply remained 24% below the peak of 12.5 months in July 2010 and 14% above April of 2010 when the home buyer tax credit was in full swing. Would You Put This Picture in MLS? A few weeks ago I was searching the MLS and came across a house that was a perfect for one of my buyers. When I opened up the pictures to view the features I found 5 pictures and this one surprised me beyond belief. The other 4 photos were not quite as bad but pretty much the same.
Of course, I did not take my buyer to see this house as this photo was enough to say NO WAY; messy, dirty, smelly, maybe infested, no repairs or upgrades and “No Pride of Ownership” … (23 comments)

I am re-blogging this as it is extremely important that all Realtors see this and get the word our to their colleagues, buyers and sellers. Effective September 1, 2011, The new appraisal regulations, codes and requirements that maycause delays in getting the appraisals completed. We have already seen difficulties due to underwriter demands but typically these are resolved and we can usually close within 1 week of projected closing date but this new issue may cause lengthy delays or fall-outs. Speechless Sunday-Stop and Smell the Flowers! Here is one of my favorite pictures I would like to share on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. I caught a glimpse of my dog, Gidget, in the backyard smelling the flowers.

Bank of America Corp., faced with a glut of foreclosed and abandoned houses it can’t sell, has a new tool to get rid of the most decrepit ones: a bulldozer. My Special Humming Bird While sitting in my backyard, I quietly waited for this little bird to stop. As it was quiet, I could hear it buzzing before it arrived just in time to get the zoom on my camera adjusted. Humming Birds are so beautiful and graceful. 1st Mistake: Don’t Assume a Nationwide Company is the BEST! I made a major mistake in May. Hired a huge nationwide company (one of top 3) expecting them to do a good job since they had to move my daughters light load across the country. They didn’t show up at the time expected. After 3 hours, I called them and they said the driver had been pulled and had left the state with someone else’s load. WHAT!!!
