Yesterday my cousin in South Carolina, Caroline, notified me of a toxin hidden in foods that can kill dogs. It was from a dog rescue newsletter she had received. Dr. David, McGrath, DVM has determined that toxins inside low calorie sweeteners that go by the name of XYLITOL can kill our fur babies. Apparently 2 sticks of gum can kill a 10 pound dog. More and more foods are using this compound to sweeten foods for human consumption. This is just another reason why we should not be giving our dogs table scraps. Other foods include (8 comments)
The Catholic Archdiocese is trying to sell a pricey convent in Los Feliz, CA (Hollywood area) to celebrity Katy Perry for $14.5 Million cash. On the other side of this sale, the nuns from the convent have recently sold it to a local restaurateur Dana Hollister for $15.5 Million who has plans to convert it into a boutique hotel. Los Angeles Archbishop Jose Gomez is disputing the recent sale with the two elderly Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Sister (16 comments)

Finding Relief from the Heat This week we are experiencing triple digit heat and even the critters in the neighborhood are looking for shade and water.
Getting a drink from the gutter water after sprinklers run.
This bunny hides in the shade of our front yard daily.
This is a water fountain and the birds were swimming and splashing here.
This picture was taken at the Redland's Target store.
We see coyotes in the day time and hear of attacks (9 comments)

Last week I cleaned out my files and took care of some spring cleaning. I stuff everything in folders and then once a year and then sort them on my desk. inland empire realtor: MLS Pictures I Put in by Mistake
- 03/05/14 12:51 PM
MLS Pictures I Put in by Mistake Today I was working on a file and double checking I had changed the status. I thought I would do my AVID (Agent's Visual Inspection Disclosure) and I always review the 50+ pictures in my file. I checked out the MLS and to my horror, I had put in two pictures that should not have been there.
Here I am taking a picture of one of the bathrooms.
And here I am taking a picture of the upstairs hall bathroom. So my suggestion to everyone, is to review your mirror pictures (22 comments)

- 12/25/13 03:50 AM
How Do You Survive Christmas? Christmas can be hectic with the kids fighting, the dogs barking, visitors at the door, last minute wrapping and shopping, cooking.....and the list goes on but I have one simple cure for surviving the holidays.
Eggnog....and if you are so inclined, add a little Brandy to it. Tastes good!
This month we were asked to suggest a member who gives us a bird’s eye view of their community and although there are so many bloggers who daily give us beautiful pictures and businesses, there is one member who stands out and that is Georgina Hunter. She is a real estate agent in Maui, Hawaii.
Georgina shows us daily pictures about her community; condos for sale, new real estate developments, businesses and food you can try for the Hawaiian experience.
I am a Southern California Realtor and have a wide variety of interests. First of all Real Estate is my real love and focus point but I do have Hobbies.
