Do You Have a Plan If You Get a Mandatory Evacuation Order Be Prepared This week while I was away at a Women's Council of Realtors Conference in Northern California, my husband was at home with our two dogs. He got a knock on the door at noon and when he opened the door, it was a Deputy Sheriff letting him know that there was a major gas leak nearby and he had to evacuate RIGHT THEN. I notice many beautiful Crepe Myrtle trees growing here in Southern California. They come in a variety of pinks, lavenders, reds and also white. Many shopping centers and parks like them as you can mix the colors and make a beautiful setting.
Where I live, they have about 8 lining both sides of the entrance for a beautiful and dramatic entryway.
The birds ike to find refuge in these trees and it makes nice pictures.
