California Flag- Historic Bear Flag raised at Sonoma on June 14, 1846, by a group of American settlers in revolt against Mexican rule. The flag was designed by William Todd on a piece of new unbleached cotton. The star imitated the lone star of Texas. A grizzly bear represented the many bears seen in the state. When I put my weekly schedule on a pie chart I realized that Real Estate consumes a great portion of my life; 2/3 real estate and 1/3 personal life. I realized I do not have a vacation scheduled. All work and no play makes Kristin unhappy. This was a major realization here that it was lacking in my priorities so next week I am going to plan a couple of short vacations for this spring/summer and one for the winter holidays.

Recently I had a cute little house that a seller contacted me to sell. I had it listed the next day and received 5 offers immediately. The sellers selected one and viola...we are in escrow. It had happened so fast that the PRELIM had not arrived before we opened escrow as I usually get to review it for any RED FLAGS ahead of time.

I prefer mysteries and find a lot of good shows on TV so for fun I watch medical shows that are soapy but interesting. TV entertains me while I am working on the computer at night. But I must confess that one of my favorite shows is “Haven” which is a sci-fi show involving a few not so normal characters living in a small coastal community in Maine.

I am moving to a slightly rural area so I am experiencing a lot of birds and animals running amok. Today while driving down the street, I noticed this cute little killdeer be-bopping down the sidewalk.
At first I thought it was a roadrunner but the cute stripped forehead helped me determine the specie.

Never scrimp on the purchase of your new home; whether it is "New Construction" or a "Resale Home" because it is definitely money well spent. I have two huge "Mexican Bird of Paradise" Bushes in my yard and they attract the hummingbirds, the bees, and the butterflies. It is a great plant and blooms from April to October each year. It is an amazing plant the traffic never stops.

I have had the same website since I started real estate and frankly, I need a new one quick.
Everyone seems to have nice boxes for visitors to click in but I do not.
I must give my notice within the next month as they just have a 30 day window before it expires.
So does anyone have any good recommendations for a web site? I am not looking for anything super expensive but just want something that does the job for a fair price.
