Surprises While Showing Property Yesterday
Yesterday while showing my buyers a home in Yucaipa CA, we came across several visitors in the yard. First we heard chickens clucking and there was a group of 5 or 6 just on the other side of the fence. Then here walks up a big rooster on our side of the fence. My buyers thought it was a great feature and did not see it as a problem.
Of course, I ran out to get my phone and take a few photos. Chuck-Chuck- and Cockadoodle-Do!

Holiday Decorations Day 1
This weekend I went shopping at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA. It is known as one of the most popular malls in the US and they spare nothing in decorations to make it an enjoyable experience.
Most of these decorations are 3 floors high so I could not get the entire picture. This is my favorite and it has a train ride on the lower floor for little kids to ride.
Yes, just going to this mall is an experience and it has over 150 stores which are mostly top brand designers and a few large department stores plus … (6 comments)

Do You Have an Annual Thanksgiving Tradition?
Do you have an annual Thanksgiving Day tradition? Many people travel, some go to a football game, watch the Macy's Day Parade on TV or go in person to see it, or just get together with family for a terrific feast?
My kids have always loved the Pillsbury Orange Rolls. These are the ones you buy in the grocery store and bake in the oven. So when they were little, they would always remind us to buy these rolls for Thanksgiving and Christmas mornings. So here started our family tradition to have these warm and delicious … (32 comments)

Throwback Thursday- Fun Times in Lake Arrowhead
Lake Arrowhead Lake is Beautiful

I came across these pictures this week of my dearest friend Sonia and I. We had taken our kids up to Lake Arrowhead for breakfast, shopping at the outlet stores and a hike around part of the lake. These pictures are about 15 years old.

It was such a fun day but cold and crisp and the wind was blowing so my hair is crazy. Fun Days to remember. We are all still friends  and Sonia and I still live nearby though the kids have all … (16 comments)

Sea Turtles in Oahu are Amazing and Protected
Laniakea Beach, Oahu

While on vacation last month, we went on a bus tour while in Hawaii and it was a 6 hour bus tour of the North Shore. I found it amazing and was hoping to see 'Sea Turtles'. One of the normal stops he used to make on the route was closed but we did get to go to the beach next door and were not disappointed as we saw many turtles riding in with the waves to eat.
I was reading about these turtles and found they are … (12 comments)

Full Moon Over Calimesa

I was in the car (passenger) last night so I took pictures with my cell phone as the full moon was so grand. This full moon in March is called the "Crow Moon".

This is the last full moon of the winter known as Crow Moon, Worm Moon, Crust Moon, Sap Moon, Lenten Moon or Sugar Moon. The cawing of the Crows signaled that winter was finally over.

Crust Moon came from the fact the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. Sap or Sugar Moon signaled … (6 comments)

Try Tang's in Calimesa if you Want G-R-E-A-T Chinese Food

I recently moved to this community and we stopped in to Tang's for a quick lunch one afternoon. I was so surprised as this restaurant is like fine dining once you walk in.
The service is great, the soup is delicious and everything we have ordered has been so tasty. The restaurant seemed to be packed all the time but good thing it is a big restaurant with many tables.
John Tang opened the restaurant in March of 2010. It was … (4 comments)

Goals for My Real Estate Career and Family in 2014
We are now in a new age, a "Modern Technology Age". Most of us now have home computers, laptops, iPads, Smart Phones, Scanners and in rare cases still use a fax machine. My goal it to continue to become more "techy" as the year goes on. I attend real estate seminars, webinars and just went to Women's Council of Realtors where I learned a lot of new technical information to do power point presentations. This is really going to help my business grow
Digital Signatures are the greatest thing that … (4 comments)

Ghost Bike in Calimesa CA....Experienced Bicyclist Lost His Life

A ghost bike or ghost cycle is a bicycle set up as a roadside memorial in a place where a bicyclist has been killed or severely injured and usually by a motor vehicle. Besides being a memorial for the cyclist, it is a reminder for all who pass by to remember to share the road.
On December 29, 2013, a 64 year old bicyclist, Phil was riding on Calimesa Blvd, when a driver of a green vehicle crossed over the road and hit him head on at approximately 50 miles per … (4 comments)

What Not to Do if Sellers Really Want to Sell Their Home
Typically when the Realtor meet the homeowners for the first time, they have already cleaned up inside and out as it is their intention for the home to look perfect and sell for the very best price. Realtors may have some suggestions to make the home even look more appealing to buyers. But of course there are always homeowners who feel they know what is best and disregard any suggestions by the agent.
Here is a list of items I have come across that delayed the selling of the homes I listed.

Questions and Answers Regarding Sellers Having Open Houses
Being an experienced agent, I believe it is important to have open houses at least once or twice. I normally have a lender with me who can qualify anyone who walks in and has questions regarding the payments how much they have to put down to start the transaction. Below is some questions that many of my sellers ask me so I thought I would share the questions and answers.

Should we do open houses
Yes, I think it is important to advertise to the area that your home is for sale.
